On this evening, the kids come back to camp at 7:00 to enjoy a campfire with songs and stories, look at the stars, play night games if they wish, and sleep in tents. Older campers may choose to construct an outdoor shelter to spend the night in, or sleep out if they desire. We provide ample supervision for campers at all times during overnights. Campers bring their own tents and share them, and camp has several tents available for use.
For campers ages 8 and older, there will be one overnight during the summer. . Overnight events begin at 7:00pm, and end at 9:00 am. Registered campers stay through the following day until regular camp dismissal time at 4:00. The overnight date will be chosen during the summer to accommodate the weather. The camp fees include supervision for the event, evening snack, breakfast, and lunch for the day after the camp out. There are no additional fees for the overnight event.
Overnights are weather permitting.
Camp provides evening snacks and breakfast for campers attending the overnight. Breakfast of waffles, fruit, cereal, juice and milk will be available for campers in the morning. Camp will also provide lunch the next day for campers who spend the night.
Overnights require registration and a sliding scale donation of $10 – $20 to cover supervision and meals.
